We have divided the information in this blog into regions according according to traditional geographical definitions of Iceland. Starting in the south-west at the Reykjanes Peninsula and going clock-wise the regions are: The Reykjanes peninsula, the capital area, the west, the west-fiords, the north-west, the north-east, the east and the south.

Each region has its own characteristics, be it the volcanic area of the Reykjanes Peninsula where the black lava is all around, the courses of the lush farming area of the south or the high mountains and the narrow fiords of the west-fiords. The courses are all very different from each other and we are sure you will find a course of your liking, regardless of the region you are visiting.
